Help Farmers, Control Pests – Join SSAA NSW Farmer Assist
The Farmer Assist Program is an online platform connecting New South Wales farmers and land managers with skilled SSAA NSW members to help manage pest and feral animal issues.
Farmers can post jobs on the program’s online jobs board, outlining the pest problem and the type of support they need. Registered members can view listings, apply for tasks, and communicate directly with farmers. All participants are covered by the Association’s $20 million public liability insurance.
Importantly, the service is free for farmers and land managers, ensuring cost is not a barrier to accessing skilled assistance.

Why Your Involvement Matters
Pest and feral animals are a significant challenge across NSW. They can damage crops, destroy pastures, threaten native wildlife, and increase the complexity of farm management. By participating in the Farmer Assist Program, you provide farmers with safe, ethical, and effective assistance, supporting agriculture, environmental protection, and rural communities.
