Lever Action Shooters Shine at SSAA NSW Northern Rivers

The 2025 SSAA NSW Lever Action State Titles were held over the weekend of 3–4 May at the Casino Range, proudly hosted by the SSAA NSW Northern Rivers Branch. With 35 competitors across Australia, the event proved to be a standout moment for the discipline.

This year’s event welcomed men, women, and juniors, highlighting the inclusive spirit of SSAA NSW shooting disciplines

The competition included Open, Ladies, Junior, Veteran, Senior, and Traditional Rifle categories, along with Classic Calibre events, all contributing to a full weekend of precision shooting in a safe and expertly managed environment.

Standout Results from the 2025 SSAA NSW Lever Action Titles

Two Gun Overall Champions

  • 1st: Don (Northern Rivers NSW) – 689.04
  • 2nd: Timothy (ACT) – 651.1
  • 3rd: Craig (Northern Rivers NSW) – 648.11

Ladies Two Gun

  • 1st: Gwen (Newcastle) – 490.03
  • 2nd: Anika (Northern Rivers) – 461.01
  • 3rd: Melissa (Northern Rivers) – 221.03

Junior Two Gun Under 15

  • 1st: Ben – 531.03

Junior Two Gun 15 and Over

  • 1st: Adam – 446.03

Congratulations to the overall winner and SSAA NSW Discipline Chairman, Don.

The weekend also saw several competition shooters receive their NSW Proficiency Medals, acknowledging their development in the sport.

The success of the event was made possible by volunteer range officers, scorers, and support from the competitors’ families – testament to how our sport brings people together.
