The SSAA NSW Hill Top Shooting Complex is a multi-discipline shooting facility operated by SSAA NSW. The range supports a wide variety of shooting activities and is used by both affiliated clubs and casual shooters, depending on range availability and booking schedules.
Hill Top is designed to accommodate long-range and short-range shooting in a controlled, structured environment, with clear session times and range allocation to ensure safety and efficient operation.
Please report to the shooting complex office (located on the 500m range which is the second SSAA NSW Hill Top Shooting Complex entrance to your left).
Please note: Check-in starts from 08:30 AM, with the first shooting session at 10:00 AM. Arrive at least 30 minutes before shooting starts to register and set up your targets.
The 800m and 50m ranges are open for club/group bookings only, while the 500m range is open for all shooters.
Fees and booking information
Casual shooting at Hill Top runs in two sessions each day – a morning session and an afternoon session.
Morning session: Check-in from 8:30am, first shot at 10:00am, finishing at 1:30pm.
Afternoon session: Runs from 1:30pm to 4:30pm.
Casual shooting is available Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Please note:
- The 800m and 50m ranges are reserved for club bookings only.
- Casual shooters can access the 500m range, with firing distances at 50m, 100m, 150m, 200m, 300m, 385m and 500m.
