Field Rifle is designed around the most common hunting positions, recreated safely under controlled range conditions.

It’s a great entry point for new shooters because it mirrors real-life scenarios - standing, sitting, kneeling - while encouraging good technique and confidence with your firearm.

Competitors aim to improve practical accuracy rather than chase perfection, making this an ideal stepping stone into other rifle disciplines or ethical hunting.

3-Positional shooting takes those same skills and pushes them further.

It’s a precision target match that tests your ability across three positions, prone, standing, and kneeling, and rewards consistency, endurance, and fine control.

While it’s a little more technical, it’s still beginner-friendly and a favourite among those who love structured, disciplined shooting challenges.
